I have a '92 camaro RS with a 305. At about 1200 RPM's, the car starts to jerk back and forth and the RPM's bounce between around 1200 and 1500. Also, when I give it gas it doesn't seem to have any response. The engine revs, but it doesn't act like it's going anywhere. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.

It sould be a lot of things. You have to systematically eliminate them. Check the easiest stuff first. Could be Fuel filter, fuel pump, timing, clogged cat, disconnected vacuum line, etc.
Poke around, see if everything is connected first, then change the fuel filter.
Does the engine "ping?" If it does, your timing is whacked.
If it bogs, but there is no ping check the fuel delivery system.
