90 iroc bogging down issue

Hey guys having a bit of a problem on my 90 iroc 5.7 it's fuel injected the issue isn't car killing thank god but I still don't like it problem is when I am either at low RPM like stopped or below 5-10 mph like at a stop sign and I get on the grass for many a second the cat boggs really low almost like it died and then just as swiftly as it came it goes and the car runs like a champ again like it never had a problem iv also encountered this problem when "giving it the Julie" so to speak lol it's a camaro so it would be weird if I didn't but at higher speeds the car doesn't seem to do so like matting it from 50 seems like the car is weaker than it used to be but I don't feel the bogging if it is however for example like in a drag race getting in it from a stop is when the issue is most noticeable it's like the car lurches almost from dead stop if I Mat it the car bogs low almost about to die and then a split second later it comes alive and from that point iv kept it mated until around 80-90 and it doesn't happen again just that one time when I call on fuel from low rpms I told my dad who is a wiz with these cars he said his firebird did that once and it was the fuel filter so I changed that and it still does it doesn't seem as bad but I could just be imagining that do I figured I'd get help from a whole community lemme know if u guys can think of anything thanks alot

Re: 90 iroc bogging down issue

I would check ignition timing, clean and tune the throttle body (tech articles that show how to check and adjust TPS, IAC, and minimum idle set), and ohm test the fuel injectors.
Possibly small vacuum leak as well, but those speed density cars aren't as sensitive as MAF cars.

Does the transmission shift normal? I'd probably go ahead and reset the TV adjustment as well (can also be found under tech articles).
