What is this part for ?

Hi !

It is not my first time on this forum, but my first thread ! So I'd like to say hello to everyone ! I'm from Québec so maybe my english will not be very good haha !

So here is my question : what is this part for ?

I bought the car and it was like this... I just wonder what is it ? Do I need to block it ?

I also have those connectors... Is it in relation with the picture shown above ?

Thanks !

That's the air tube from the A.I.R pump. You should have a A.I.R. system diverter valve setup mounted on it and those electric connectors will hook into it to control air placement to cat or manifolds.
