How do I tighten my seat down?...
How do I tighten my seat down?...
This might be somewhat of an easy answer, but I feel like asking anyway. When I'm driving and go thru a turn or when I brake rather hard, I feel my seat move up
. It's very unpleasant, the whole seat can rock back and forth, it doesn't feel good. So how could I tighten the seat, I have a power seat, I wasn't sure how to tighten it, the screws are covered over by the plastic. I haven't had much time to look at it, I just wanna make sure I'm fixing it right, thanks.

Under the plastic covers are the bolts that hold the seat rails to the body.
There are other bolts (nuts?) that hold the base of the seat to the rails. These can be seen by looking up at the bottom of the seat. To get the rear ones, you have to have the seat all the way foward, and all the way back for the front ones.
I would check those first.

The hardware Engineboy is talking about is the ones that hold the seat base to othe car. The seat itself detaches from the base with (IIRC) 4 bolts; there is no difference in the seats themsleves between power and manual seats, they just bolt them to the different base.
Do what Engineboy says (it's real easy) and if it still does it, take the seat out and turn it upside down and tigthen those other ones. Either way, it's about a 30-minute fix, max.
The seat base itself, either the power mechanism or the manual kind, is made in such a way that it can't cause that problem, and still work.
