RADIATOR FULL WITH ANTIFREEZE, ALWAYS, DOESN'T GET OVER 210 DEGREES, RESERVE A BIT LOW HERE AND THERE. DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS. ONE TIME ONLY THE RESERVE HAD APPARENTLY BUBBLED OUT AFTER I HAD BEEN DRIVING IT FOR 20 MINUTES OR SO. DIDN'T NOTICE IT UNTIL I WAS LEAVING WHERE IT HAD COME OUT AND KINDA STAINED THE DRIVEWAY. ANY HELP IS MUCH APPRECIATED.

If you smell burning antifreeze from under the hood it is leaking and burning off on the hot engine , like maybe leaking onto an exhaust manifold perhaps . It only takes a tiny amount to be leaking and burning off to be fairly noticeable , smell wise , and it usually burns off before it gets the chance to drip onto the ground and leave obvious puddles (by then you've got a BIG leak instead of the small leak you've got now) .

What needs to be done is for a "cooling system pressure test" to be done , and when done properly that will pinpoint the source of the leak . Of course , it could be anything from a simple radiator hose replacement all the way up to something like a headgasket but hopefully usually it's something minor like the hose .

PS , just so ya know , this is a forum for third gen Camaro , 1982 to 1992 only , and if your thread gets closed it's because the mods here try hard to keep the content to 1982/1992 only .
