How many miles is too many

How many miles is too many

Want to get a new cam next spring. Right now I have the stock 305tpi cam. Question is does anybody think that 60,000 miles on a engine is too much wear to install a new cam .

Just changed mine out at 68,000 make sure to use a new timing chain

do a compression test if u want a good ifea what shap ur engine is in. but at 60K i wouldn't worry at all

Hell, no...I had over 160,000 on my LG4 when I changed mine; only time I've been into this engine below the valve covers

I've put on 60,000 more since then

60k too much... I'm at 150,000 and was thinking about using a bigger cam not long ago.
