What bolt size I have? and Carrier for gears?

I have stock 2.73 gears and Im getting 3.73 gears from an 84 Trans Am. The seller says he had a 7.5" 10-bolt rear and will fit 3.08 or higher carrier...will it fit on mine?

How much are you paying for the gears? The best thing for you to do would be to look through a JEGS and find a 3.73 ring and pinion for a 3.08 and numerically lower carrier. It will cost about $195 for Richmond gears.
