I need some help!

I can't seem to figure out what is going on. I have a 92 Camaro with a 5.7 TPI, the car turns on fine it idles and all the t-5 gears work fine.

As I cruse on heavy LA traffic (traffic in LA lol) for more then 30 minutes the car just turn off and it wouldn't start,
The car is not over heating there is 40 lb of fuel pressure.
I just leave the car alone for 5- 10 minutes and the car start right up again like nothing happen. I have check the fuel pressure, timing, getting good resistance on the fuel injectors

I recently pulled up to a smog check station and ask the guy to give me a reading while idling here are the number:

HC...........ppm: 1320
CO.............%: 0.03
CO2...........%: 9.0
O2 ............%: 7.8
NO (x) .....ppm: 29

P.E.F. .......... 0.482

I notice that is happen when I use the car for a 30 - 1 hour period of time in a bumper to bumper traffic or stop at a red light for a long time. Once it stop running I just waited out for 5-10 minutes and the car works fine again.

I'm open to read some advise

 

Something is getting hot, and failing. Could be the module under the distributor cap......

 

Did you check for trouble codes? The ECM can have "soft codes" that don't illuminate the check engine light.
