Problem with 1991 Firebird 305
I bought a 1991 firebird formula (305 TPI, 111,xxx Miles) about three weeks ago, I drove it for a short amount of time and it began to see problems. At some point early it may or may not have ran entirely out of fuel, it wouldn't start but then I was able to put 14 gallons into the 15.5 gallon tank. Now it will crank and (maybe) start. If it does drive it will last about 10-15 minutes then die. If I let it sit for a day or two it will then drive for a short amount of time again. I took it to a shop and they believe it is the Injectors, he says the fuel pressure is good, but out of 6 injectors he checked: 4 injectors gave off 5.1 ohms and 2 checked out at 17.2 ohms.
When i turn the key I hear the fuel pump turn on and all electronic amenities wake up as well.
Has anyone had a similar experience and can share their thoughts? And if so what route should I take to solve it?

Hi I have a 95 Z28 Camaro I just did the head gaskets on it took the engine and transmission completely out put the new head gaskets and everything back in got all everything hooked back up and try to start it and sounds like my engines not turning fast enough and then I noticed I have smelling smoke something burning like a wiring harness on the passenger side what would be causing that or can I get suggestions on how to fix it thank you LT1 and I just replace my starter and my battery cuz I think that went bad to do to the burning of the wiring harness

If you replace the injectors, go with south bay fuel injectors.

Dude go make your own thread about your problem and don't hijack others.
Anyways on to the op problem.
Your injectors are reading off. So it's safe to say replacing them will be your best bet. Now with this car it's gonna be best to replace the tune up items.
Replace the cap and rotor
Plugs plug wires
Change the fuel pressure regulator
Change the injectors
Replace the ignition control module ( inside the distributor)
Replace fuel filter
Run some seafoam in the tank
Replace the air filtersReplace the PVC valve.
these are standard things to do when purchasing most Thirdgens these days.

Yes the injectors are bad. They are famous for shorting out when hot.
