I have a 82 camaro with a sbc 350 and th350 swap the car had caught on fire so i went and bought a new complete mechanical advance distributor and a holley carb and new ac delco mechanical fuel pump not that that might matter but after the car starts the first time and warms up a bit the car will struggle to start bad it bumps the engine little by little till i keep trying to start it and after several times of cranking it it starts right up thanks for any imput

Did anything with the starter go up in smoke or did u check all of that already?

 

Yeah finally i got her up and running again and no everything seems to be in tact but its weird cause it starts fine then starts having trouble

 

That is weird lol, I wish I could help more but if it's just barely bumping the engine then starting up I can only think of starter or something else electrical, I guess u can only do more troubleshooting :c
