Hesitation/misfire from stop

When I come to a stop in my 1988 camaro tpi and go to accelerate I'm stuck there, usually have to slightly press in on the throttle to get it to go. And once it does its usually like BAM off the line because of me putting so much throttle into it. Really annoying/embarrassing because of the angry people behind me and it does misfire and " pop". I know new fuel injectors wouldn't hurt but they seem to be okay ohm-wise. I even slammed on the throttle at cruising speed and there was the delay again. I do have new cap rotor plugs wires. Going to change the tranny fluid and fuel filter this weekend to see if that clears anything up. I have seen my tps stay at like .60v. Then after quickly snapping throttle it would go back to .54 like it was getting stuck at .60v. Sorry for the ramble trying to be descriptive for diagnostic purposes lol. But this whole lack of throttle response is getting quite dangerous especially trying to get across lanes of traffic.Any thoughts appreciated.
