Stall in gear underload
Hey all,
I am not one to post on forums I usually google my way to answers I don't know. I have seem some some what similar posts but nothing that quite fits the bill. I have a 91 with the 305 tbi auto. Car seems to idle a bit high, roughly 1500 calms a bit when warm. Idle, reving, turning the wheel, no problem. put it in gear and seems to run fine idleing with foot on the brake. The problem occurs most from what ive been able to test when im in gear drive or rev and steer to the lock. Seems the load from the powersteering bogs down the engine. Any ideas for where to begin? I just got the car so im new to tbi

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me.
