I finialy got my 24x conversion done and a holley stealth ram on, the car is tuned( my tuner screwed up i believe) the car runs ok but has no low end torque at all, less then with the factory tpi, it wont even break the tires free, it has a hard time getting to 2500 rpm but once its there and past its a rocket, it also used a full tank of gas in 60 miles! What the hell is going on?! The car has a 92 crate 350 with l89 heads on it, it should be making decent power, is it my engine or do i need to get it tuned again? Also, the tuner didnt delete any dtc's it has 12 emission related codes along with maf code that the car doesnt even have, i dont know what else to do any help/ advice would be greatly apprieciated!

I believe you've answered your own question; it needs a proper tune before you run it any more at all. Hopefully you've not already destroyed the ring seal by washing down the cylinder walls with excess fuel.

Tuner should have gone to a custom MAP only operating system or you need to add a MAF in. I prefer staying with the MAF because they work really well and the driveability is better. It sounds like the tuner screwed up. I bet if I were to look at the tune I would find numerous things wrong with it.

 

I wouldnt be suprised, its definately not right thats for sure. Well i guess back to the tuner it is, its a challange to find a reputable place where i am if you can find one at all
