Dose it work with vortec heads?

Email ken, he has made the vortec base and might have them in stock.

There is a guy on eBay porting the stock base for $200 not worth it IMO the base is a restriction but so are the runners. You should look into high flow. Slp, accel, edelbrock or better yet tpis Arizona speed and marine.

I have seen some pretty good intakes but i dont know what would be best for my build
My build
turn my 350 into a 355 put SDPC vortec heads on there throw in a bigger cam boost it with a procharger. im looking for a fun torque car but i don't know what intake would be best

You might want to look for a vortec base hsr.
You might be able to get the natural version not sure the pn I think it’s a 7542.

Yeah i would like to but i cant remember if it was that intake or the lt1 intake with air flow issues
