Input on PRW Sportsman Rockers for a budget build.

I hate to start yet another thread but I cant find a whole lot on PRW stuff, most of what i can find is just people hating on them because they are cheaper/chinese. Im still a senior and only working part time so im on a pretty tight budget with this build so I cant go out spending $400 on a set of rockers. Im looking at the prw sportsman series 0835021. Anyone whos had experience with these (or any prw products) id love to hear your opinion. Thanks

First of all, those aren't self aligning, which you will need. Also they aren't significantly cheaper than the Comp roller tip 1.6 rockers. I got my Comp set for around $160

Ive got to use non self aligning for my heads due to the oversized valves, ill use guideplates. And I cant find any comp magnums in a 7/16 stud, id really prefer to upgrade to a 7/16 over the 3/8.

This motor is going in my daily driver so aluminum fatigue in the aluminum rockers kinda scare me. Im thinking maybe going with the comp magnum roller tips and just picking up a set of ARP 3/8 studs. I was just planning on going with 7/16 since I was buying new rockers/studs anyway, but i doubt ill ever spin it past 6200 so the advantages will be negligible.

Call comp and ask them. They make pistons out of aluminium so it really depends on the alloy. If Comp makes it and says it's for street - their word is pretty good IMHO. They have proven their products to me and many others around here.

Unless you're running really heavy spring pressures with a large camshaft then you don't need 7/16" rocker studs.

I think im going to go the Comp Magnum route, even if I can only use a 3/8 stud. Ill keep a eye out for used rockers to see if I can find anything better, still have a few weeks before everythings gonna be ready.
