How strong is the bottom end?

how strong is the stock bottom end good for on the lb9's and l98's, horespower and torque numbers

alot.. i'd venture to say it would hold 400 hp well, 450 for a while. you've got to remember, alot of reliability is how well its tuned, if its running lean for an extended time, your going to damage it. if its pinging it wont last long at all. i know of a completely stock 89 iroc(350 tpi) with a D1 procharger AND 150 n2o shot that runs 11.7@119, and has done so for 3 years, no problem. tuning is the key. that guy didnt get that far without knowing how to tinker with his engine
