New 5.7

Ok guys/gals I’ve been trolling your forums for a while now and decided I’d get some expert opinions on a cam for my mild 350 build.....the 5.0 Tbi has to go
350 , 9.4 to 1 compression, fresh pro topline 167cc/64cc non swirlport heads #083(heads are @ machine shop getting valve job), summit dual plane intake, 650 dp, 700r4, 2300 stall, 3.73gears,92 rs 3400 lb car. Current cam is a speed pro rv cam 204/214 duration.....looking for more snap and keeping a/c

Re: New 5.7

Comp XE262, or the Lunati Voodoo that's comparable

Make sure you have the best possible valve springs installed... don't go with the "minimum" or "standard" recommendation if you can upgrade from there without too much machine work.

In fact, you might want to consider a set of LS6 https://www.texas-speed.com/p-1383-l...od-to-550.aspx (for which the upgrade would be PAC 1218 https://www.texas-speed.com/p-6431-p...-pac-1219.aspx) springs, Comp 787 retainers, and the other supporting hardware to match. Good CHEEEEP combo that'll keep you out of trouble.
