Boy oh boy did I get taken

Recently purchased an 87 convertible ta thing is a nightmare. Engine is bad top is missing everything to operate now floor under rear seats is rusted out I see. How much does anyone think it will cost to fix the floors pans and labor thanks

Much , much more than the car is worth , which is why the previous owner dumped it on you . Sell it , scrap it , or keep it for parts , and buy one that isn't all rotted out , and you'll be Thousand$ ahead of the game .....

I guess it depends on the extent of the damage. Pull out the seats and carpet. Post up some pics. Lots of experienced folks here can help you get that figured out /value check. The engine stuff can be frustrating. However it is also more straight forward as things bolt on, but this depends on how comfortable you are with it.

If you need/want to pay others to put everything right, it may be better to flip it and get something else. If you can do at least some of it... well get a good assessment before you make up your mind.

Get some pics of the issues in the body forum for the floor to start. Good luck.
