Wheel bearing query

Hey guys, i have just picked up an axle shaft for a 10 bolt rear that has drummies on my 87 camaro. Before i pull the slightly wonky one out does anyone know if there is a bearing pressed/seated to the back of the axle flange or are they mounted in the axle tube itself?
