Cam and stall query

I have a 305 TPI 1986 IROC-Z camaro. It's an auto and i have an airfoil, K&N's with homemade ram-air, edelbrock headers, flowmasters, 305 Torquer heads, and am interested in getting a new cam and want a new torque converter. I was looking at the SLP converter that goes 800RPM over stock, and want to know how high of a duration I can go to with a cam. Any suggestions about cams or converters are greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't go much above 210 degrees duration on the intake side, maybe the Crane 214/220 cam or a CompCams 212/218. I have a Precision Industries 12" high-stall converter that was originally behind my 305, and it stalled at 2300-2400 at the track. It's only a little over $200, so I don't know how that compares to the SLP converter, but it was a great mod, even with the internally-stock 305.
