Oil pressure sending unit issue?
So today I changed my oil pressure sending unit because my gauge was really jumpy and inconsistent. However, now it stays in the red (roughly 10lbs I'd say) when I'm driving. When I let up on the gas it goes to zero. My sending unit was next to my distributor cap and I purchased a unit that is 0-60 which is what my gauge reads so I know it was the correct one. I'd like to know if anyone here has experienced anything similar and what was your remedy. Any help appreciated thanks.

Were you able to check for any crap in that passage where the sensor screws in?
When I changed my sending unit in my truck, the new one read way lower than previous.
Bring it back and try another sending unit.
