Back from its slumber

So I'm finally back to my camaro. It's been parked since March of 14 and it's time to assemble after the last 3 months of year down and rebuilding all the brakes, susenspension, steering and drivetrain.

what I need help with, the car from factory was a 85 Sport Coupe with the 305 with quadra-jet. What's going in, a '78 C10 4-bolt main 350 punched out 30 with eagle crank and pistons. I already had some RHS heads and they're going back on. Comp cam and lifter set. (I can provide specs if anyone wants them) I have the edelbrock air gap intake, Holley 600 electric choke, vacuum secondaries and the distributor is a MSD streetfire with vacuum advance. Now... I'm sure i can manage to figure out the vacuum lines and their routing. My questions. 1. Do i still need to run the knock sensor since I'm running vacuum advance? Also will I still need the oxygen sensor? I'm running long tube headman headers and I had an exhaust shop put a O2 bung in it for me. 2. Which temp sensors do I need? (I know the question seems odd) I want to run an aftermarket thermostat housing but they don't have the threaded location for the sensor at the inlet, possibly relocate to another location on the front of the intake? I know my CEL will be illuminated due to the changes I'm making, and I plan to just remove the bulb.

I'm sure most of this info is out there, but after forum and Google searching for a couple hours, I couldn't find all my answers. Thanks for any and all input in advance, I greatly appreciate it. For what it's worth, I'm aiming to have this running by next week as me and my wife are using the camaro as part of our first child's gender reveal in a couple weeks!!!

Watch out with that street fire stuff, my friends 2nd gen melted one. And their wires aren't much good either.
