EGR Valve
EGR Valve
Hey I got a question I'm changing my injectors to replace the mismatch ones so there all the same brand and thought why I had it torn down I would go ahead and replace the EGR valve the old one looks all rusty now it my be good but I thought what the hell its a cheap part. Well when I took the old one off it looks like the vacuum line was not hooked up an I was wondering how would that make the car run with it not hooked up and I know it may be a dumb question but I was thinking it would be like a vacuum leak making the motor run rough. And also I'm trying to figure out where the vacuum line went to I think I know where there's a black rubber block near the distributor which has one vacuum line and what looks like a place for another.

Re: EGR Valve
Tpi ?
the vacuum is ported from under the tb. It goes from the tb to the solenoid then onto the egr.
