Will "tall" valve covers fit with an EGR valve and a vacuum canister HEI?

Does anyone know if "tall" valve covers will fit with an EGR valve and an adjustable vacuum canister on a HEI?

I had to get a new smaller diameter EGR valve to fit with the valve covers I had to get for the roller rockers, but space is limited. I figure I can dimple the side of the valve covers if the EGR valve hits them, but what about under the canister too?

As far as the EGR and tall valve covers goes, the OE diameter EGR from V8 F-bodies will not fit. You would need to ding the side in a bit (~.25" should be adequet), just besure the rocker's clearance isn't compromised. But, if you have a smaller diameter EGR (so long as the mounting pattern is the same) it will fit without modification. As for the vacuun canister, I can't remember any interference using it with tall covers. Hope that helps.

Yes that helps a lot. I guess then I may not have a problem with the EGR really either because it isn't the stock diameter. Thanks.
