Broken Secondary Spring

I was trying to tweak my AV earlier this week and in the process messed up my car. I broke the spring while I was trying to adjust it, and I was told a million times that it wasnt it and was something electrical, spent money on a new ignition control module that actually was bad, and aslo a bad fuel pump and a bad ignition coil. Well that didnt do much good, I can drive it but its not safe at all, I try to put more gas than jus tbarely pushing the throtle and it just bogs to the point where it almost shuts off. Is the broken spring the cause of the problem? When I push on the secondaries the just fall back and dont flip back to their closed position. I hope its it Im getting it fixed tomamrow.

BLX,

You definitely need that AV return spring, or the bogging will continue forever.

The secondaries only come into play from 2/3 throttle on up. If you're not into it that far then it's not the fault of the secondary air valve spring.
