Does anyone know how to flip up headlights without the actual lights being on? I want to do some work on them but I don't want my battery to die. I tried raising them up manually, but the little **** keeps spinning back???? If all else fails.....I suppose I could raise them and then just disconnect the battery...lol.

 

Unplug the motors.

 

You can flip up the headlight and keep them off by either turning on the headlight with the switch on your dash then pulling back on the top of the switch with the edge of your fingertips, or you can manually raise them with no power by turning the **** at the headlight counterclockwise several turns and they will slowly rise.

 

Turn on the lights, unplug the motors, turn the lights back off.

 

Thanks for the help.....I was trying to turn the **** that raises the headlights clockwise know wonder why they were spinning back at me!
