Heads/cam upgrades for 1983 LG4
Hello all,
I currently have the LG4 305 for my trans am on a stand torn down to the short block (only crank and pistons are in it at this point). I am fairly set on replacing the stock heads with World S/R Torquer 305 heads because I like the larger ports, bigger valves and smaller 58 cc combustion chamber... I'm just torn as to which cam to buy for it... I live in California as well so I've been pushing it as much as I can within emissions regulations, but I've been thinking about the summit k1103 cam... it sounds like the best bang for the buck for a 305 inch motor, and waaaaay better than the teeny weeny cam I pulled out. I am on a budget and this sounds promising, yet if there are any drawbacks/better suggestions, let me know!
Thanks to anyone who shares their knowledge!

Crane (used to be called) CompuCam 2040 would be the largest to work with what you have and still pass emissions.
