Fuel pressure regulator

Say I got a question I saw a video of a guy changing a fuel pressure regulator and he said something about polishing the round disk on the regulator and I know this may have been covered but I was just wondering is there anything to this.

Re: Fuel pressure regulator

That maybe i think he was having a problem with fuel pressure he said something about losing pressure through the return line and by polishing the small disk on the regulator it would help . Like i said i was just wondering if there was something to it.
