where do i get a dang rear differential plug???

last time i drained and filled my rear differential, i kinda ripped part of the drain plug when taking it out, and iv been meaning to get a new one ever since. now, 5 months later, i STILL need to get one.

I went to autozone, pepboys, and o'reilys and NONE of them have ever even heard of a rubber push in style plug, all they had are screw in ones. WHERE CAN I GET ONE THAT FITS OUR rear diffs?

Please let someone here actualy know what im talking about.

Parts store I used to work at stocked them. It was under the Dorman name, which may have changed by now. Motormite might be the name if they changed it to anything different.

Remeber to ask for a plug for a Borg-Warner differential cover, and you may have better luck. The GM parts store probably has one for a couple of bucks.

I agree with the dealer suggestion for parts like that, but I was flipping through my CLassic Industries catalog last night and they have them too. www.classicindustries.com
