I want to know what you guys have FIRST started with on a stock motor.... from the first mod till the last...
I am trying to get together a couple of ideas for this spring on where to start with my first mod and work my way up.
My 350 has only 58k on it... So i figure i just build it up, where do i start.
If you have pics, please post em!

I think most people start with a "high eperformance tune-up" and then exhaust and intake. I started with cat-back first, then one week I changed the cam, heads, headers, and intake.
If there is anything mechanically wrong with the car, take care of that first.

First mod I did on the 305 was headers. The last mod I have done on the 350 was gears and cat-back. I have a new intake, but I need to install it.

I started with a stock '92 Astro van. The factory gauges suked so I bought a bunch of Autometers. My parents told me they may need it some time, which is cool since technically it is my dads. Now they are scared of it
Then came the usual exhaust and K&N. Tune up with good parts from the dealer.
Then the 4.3 ground to a halt. So I bought a 350 and stuck it in. So I got a better intake and all that. Which required me to beef up the tranny with a shift kit. Later came the servo and stall, shortly after the gears.

Mechanically... my car is perfect, but there is one thing i notice from time to time... when i step on the gas semi-hard... it feels as if something is clogged and you can hear it too, the exhaust sounds like something is blocking it from coming out... but this only happens after a little bit of driving.
All i have is a flowmasters exhaust. I want to know the best way to build up a stock 350 from here.
I hear all about heads and what not, but what kind
