If I use 10w40 oil

Normally I use a 10w30 oil. Will using a non-synthetic 10w40 oil, not increase the engine temperature in hot weather?

Re: If I use 10w40 oil

I run 10w40 synthetic year round. While oil temps may go up slightly, the synthetic can handle it without any detrimental effects.
