adjusting the angle of the wiper blades

I had to get my windsheild replaced due to some vandals. The wiperblades were fine prior to it being replaced. After he replaced the windshield and reinstalled the wipers the passenger side now sits a little higher, doesn't rest on the little stopper like it use to. I pointed it out to him and he told me that they don't adjust that there is only one way they go on. I told him that I know but it didn't sit like that before. Rather than have him **** it up any more than he did I figured I'd try and do it myself. Is there any way to adjust the post underneath the arm?

There is a small amount of adjustment, not much, but some.

Take it off the post and turn it a couple of splines that direction. To get the arm of the post, turn on the wipers with the key on, and when they're up on the glass somewhere convenient, turn the key off to park them up there; lift it off the windshield as far as it will go; take a screwdriver or something, and gently pry the little tab looking thing out from under the arm until it sticks out past the arm, it will move maybe 1/8" or a little more; that holds the arm up, and takes the tension off of everything so you can slide it off the post. There's a big keyway that limits how far you can adjust it.

Looks like he wanted to go home early!

that's exactly what it was it was newyears eve and he was running late. I didn't want to have my glass repaired that day because I knew that's what would happen, the guy would get there and be in a big rush and my baby would pay the price. But I had no choice I had plans and I had to have it fixed that day.
