Aftermarket throttle cable

Hi all. Got a tpi equipped 91 camaro in the UK and the throttle cable is worn and sticky. I cant just pop down to the local junkyard, so does anyone have any experience with aftermarket throttle cables for these cars? Lokar perhaps? Anything?

Thanks for any reply.
Andy.

Re: Aftermarket throttle cable

Pedal design how it attaches to the firewall is pretty unique. A "universal fit" will not work without a lot of modifications. You'll need one specific for a third gen with TPI.

There's always main order. Summitracing, Jegs, Rockauto, Amazon etc.

Re: Aftermarket throttle cable

I just ordered one for my carbed Firebird off eBay. You might check to see if a TPI version is available there.
I know Summit and RockAuto sell throttle cables as well. No idea if that includes TPI...

Re: Aftermarket throttle cable

The 89-92 tpi throttle cable has been discontinued for years.
Your options are used in the classifieds or switch the tv cable and throttle cable to lokar.
