I'm not an ethanol fan, but found this interesting.

That's nice and all about it evaporating but that doesn't apply to fuel injected cars at all since they have sealed fuel tanks and no float bowl. It can't evaporate to any large extent and if it does sit for several years the tank and pump will be utterly destroyed. Not that this wouldn't happen with the "old" gasoline, but it may cause somewhat less damage due to not drawing moisture the way alcohol does. The Ethanol readily mixes with water while straight old-style gasoline does not.
That said, if you drive the car it's not an issue. My elderly mother has a very nice restored '56 Buick Roadmaster and I rebuilt the fuel pump with ethanol safe neoprene components and run a modern Edelbrock that is ethanol compliant and have no issues whatsoever even though it sits for often months at a time. She starts it regularly but it doesn't get driven except in sunny weather, etc.
Also Ethanol in the E85 form is straight up 106 octane RACE FUEL if you use it correctly in a turbo or supercharged application. It makes MAD power and runs cooler doing it. It's amazing stuff when used correctly and it's CHEAP.
