Affordable Head Replacement/Upgrade

Best & cheap/affordable, replacement head, that still offers an upgrade over stock with out braking my little bank..maybe something from summit ? Thanks for any help or suggestion !!

Well, what constitutes as cheap/afforfable? I would really advise caution and being realistic for people new to the small Block Chevy. You'll need good heads, cam, intake and exhaust with a good tune to be as fast as the newer average Joe sports cars. That's a bill of a few thousand dollars. You can change the exhaust, cam buy some well reviewed cheap Chinese heads and do a tune but you'd probably only be as fast as the newer American V6 sedans. And that is going to be over a grand.
The heads from Jeg's from what I've read seem to have a good reputation-- for their price point.
