Has anyone here ever replaced the fuel lines on a carbureted Camaro. Tank to motor. It’s been sitting for about 20 years and one line was leaking so I want to replace them. The car runs but not good. Thanks for your time.
i am sure someone has. without too much consideration the options are order a new one or make your own. i imagine dropping the tank would be the hardest part (if you go back that far) i have a 86 ta lg4 5sp so ive been under mine. that was the hardest looking part to me.
no need to drop the tank. the steel lines from the tank are connected to the body lines with short sections of fuel hose. there is a mounting point directly over the transmission that may pose a problem if you install them with the transmission still installed, might be able to do it with the tranny dropped some and the driveshaft/TQ arm removed.
look underneath and the routing is fairly straightforward.
