Oil reading

Just got a 91 305 t.b.i and need to know the exact measurements for oil dipstick and tube? The original was broken and I just want to be on the safe side. Everything is stock...

Fill the filter, pour the rest of that quart and 4 more in the motor, install the filter, run a minute or 2, shut off, wait 10 minutes or so, whatever it reads is "full"
