small ripples on outside wall of tires - normal??
Hey Guys - Was washing my car and while cleaning up the tires noticed I have these small ripples that run radially, hardly noticeable until they are wet or you feel them. they are about 1/2" apart, the entire circumference of all tires. Is this normal? They are subtle enough, that I don't think a camera can capture it. The are not my Formula's tires, but a different car, they are Michelin Pilot 4S
Anyone ever see anything like this before?

"Sidewall Undulations" I learned about them when I was selling TBA (Tires Batteries Accessories) in the 1970's . NORMAL.
