i swapped my ls motor into my 87 trans am that i bought a couple years ago, and i’m trying to install this aftermarket tachometer and wondering where should i run the wires ? all help is appreciated! thanks in advanced

Look at the ignition coil. You'll notice 2 connectors, each with a pink wire and a white one.
White is the tach. Pink is power to the ignition.
You can pick up the tach signal from either white wire; probably makes better sense to splice into the one that goes toward the car, not the one that goes toward the dist.
