if this is in the wrong spot sorry i could not find a better named forum for it...

i'm trying to find a video or something that shows me wtf the trick is to getting your old prom out & putting the new one in...

i have the ecm out of the car, pulled the two screws holding the rectangular cover that sits over the top of the prom...

I got the plastic cage holding the prom out, but i can't seem to get the old prom out.

Not sure why your new prom didn’t come with the holder.
you can turn it upside down press the center of the prom and pinch the sides of the holder to bend the pins slightly in.
