Check out : http://goautocenter.com/super_deals.htm

ZZ4 springs, shims, retainers (set of 16) $50

For a hyd. roller cam you want a spring with 120 - 140 lbs. closed and 325-340 lbs. open.

If you have the current issue of GM High Tech Performance, check out the article of their project car "ThunderChicken". They show specs on the springs they changed the worn out ones for.

They're basically a solid lifter spring - slightly lighter.

A flat tappet hyd. cam would have 100-110 lbs. closed and 280-290 lbs. open for comparison.

Hope that helps,

Scott
