Flywheel ???

On the flywheel, can't you just replace the teeth or the gears?
I remember replacing the gears of the flywheel on my 1980 Mustang. All you had to do was apply heat on the gears which goes around like a ring then pry it slowly. I was hoping that it would be the same with 3rd gen Camaro..

Yes it is possible, on a flywheel but not on a flex plate.
