My 82 Berlinetta does a lot of sitting, Bringing it out of mothballs the oil pressure gauge is barely reading. I'm pretty certain that its a big fat liar and i have a bad sender or bad connections. Problem is that I cant find the stinking sender. From what I can tell its supposed to be next to the oil filter. I have nothing there.

oil sender unit? where is it?
Where else would the thing be located?

 

Top of block in front of the bell housing flange, behind the intake manifold, sort of up under the distributor, a bit toward the driver's side.

 

Drat... sounds like a pain to get to. Oh well at least i know where to look. Thank you very much for pointing me where i need to go.
