Who makes FAST distributors "comp cams"
I need a small cap distributor to replace my HEI Pro Billet.
I notice FAST "Fuel Air Spark Technology" company makes a good product. WHO makes this produce the Sportsman model NON vac advance model.
i dont want chinese junk as they are not cheap also.
OR Per tronix flame thrower 3.

Wait until Monday, call Memphis, and ask how quickly they can make a custom length. That might provide an indication of whether they are turning the billets or waiting for sub-components to be imported.

Re: Who makes FAST distributors "comp cams"
Thanks mate.
I will ring them Tuesday my time which will be Monday Their time.
From this time around rebuild i noticed 90% of parts i ordered from America were made in America where the first time i bought a bunch or parts 10 and even 6 years ago most stuff was from China.
I prefer American made and you know it will last long and work.
I am starting to look away from ARP bolts as some have made in china on the packaging.
The 1 million and 1 companies selling Alloy cylinder heads are buying chinese castings and components and there still $1000 a set.
The Alibaba site is selling H Beam 4340 conrods for $23 each and the CEO of Callies is standing there with his Company Flag behind him Shaking hands in the office of the Conrod/Crankshaft company that sells the $23 Rods and $70 4340 crankshafts with Callies logo on them.
Eagle are doing the same thing.
My next rotating assembly will be Manley at least there made in America.
Scat still make things in America.

Re: Who makes FAST distributors "comp cams"
Its a shame but i think most parts are shifting towards over seas production, atleast in small electronics and such. I dont think FAST is made in the states but call to be sure. They still may be a good product. Eagle rotating assemblies and the callies compstar line that was forged overseas and finished machined here are good solid products. Not all china stuff is horrible, i’ve seen 1600+ hp made on a K1 crank and rods for a few years lol. And quite a few turbos out there with pretty successful track record made in china. Sure would be nice to see some american made stuff that could compete with that cost and have higher standards for quality control but most will not pay for it

Re: Who makes FAST distributors "comp cams"
Some of the Chinese stuff works but the big winners are the people selling it, them $26 a piece conrods sell for $350 a set.
I just wish China would start making 9 inch ford diff centers and bang em out for $350 a piece.
i did see Summit had a 9 inch centre a year or so ago for under $1000 with a possi and dont seem to sell them anymore.
i will get my car on the road then look at a small cap MSD pro billet. But will buy from America.
