Low Cost Cylinder Heads
Does anyone know of QCH (Quantico Cylinder Heads) - warehouse located in Texas?
I ran across these while surfing. Too good to be true?

I wouldn't waste my time with the iron heads listed. Look like bare vortecs. Too much $$ for bare heads. The aluminum look like ebay specials. Not a great deal but not expensive. Still have to buy guide plates and studs $$.
You can find assembled aluminum heads on ebay for less than those listed above.

There's a sucker born every minute, and 2 to take him.
Looks like this is one of the 2, and we all know you're not a sucker, so don't fall for it.

Yeah, I don't plan on buying.
I just stumbled across the site.
But they do actually provide a 6 month warranty:V8 SBC SBF and BBC cylinder heads are under warranty for 6 months from the date of purchase. All other cylinder heads and parts, including crankshafts, head bolts, gaskets, pumps and valve trains, are under warranty for 6 months from the date of purchase.
Still, I will keep my money in my pocket.

Re: Low Cost Cylinder Heads
In this day and age of easy power I would seriously say a minimum of the afr 195 enforcers, or comparable for any 4" bore sbc. For the quality of parts and valve job you get in then for $477 dollars each it's truly amazing anyone would even consider anything less for a mild performance sbc. Now if you have cheap access to a machinist that is capable of doing performance valve jobs and you're on a serious budget 906/062 original castings can do very good. Trouble is most have to pay retail and by the time you do that they aren't much of a bargain
