What is this relay?

Hi guys:
I am trying to clean up my 92 wiring since it seems somebody has been there many times!
What is this relay? there has to be connection between the two big wires for the engine to start and I couldn't really find anything in the wiring diagram that I have to explain it. I ordered couple of relays but the come as standard relay which doesn't fit this one. If you can tell me what it is, why it has to be activated for engine to start, where to buy one (part number perhaps) and what the wirings are, where they come from and where

they go.
Sorry about too many questions.
Appreciate the help.

Re: What is this relay?

Thank you.
Previous owner has added some kind of resistor/device to bypass the VAT. Is this thing plug to something or just like a relay, I need to buy the top prtion? Or can I just deleted since VAT has been deleted already?

Re: What is this relay?

It is the plug to a relay. The relay is not there anymore.

I wouldn't recommend deleting ANYTHING. If there has to be a connection to make the engine start, get a short (like 3") piece of #12 automotive wire, put a slide terminal on each end of it, and plug it into the holes where the 2 big wires are.
