I have the relay, wires etc I need to install the factory setup for fog lamps in my 88 Camaro. Only problem comes down to the relay. I have 5 wires but the GM wiring diagram I have only shows 4 connections. The wiring diagram labels each connection on the relay 1, 4, 2, and 5. So according to this diagram the following terminals on the relay would correspond to the number on the female relay connection.


Relay Connection 1 = Terminal 30
Relay Connection 2 = Terminal 85
Relay Connection 3 = Terminal 87a
Relay Connection 4 = Terminal 87
Relay Connection 5 = Terminal 86

My problem is the GM wiring diagram does not show where the relay connection 3 needs to go. Is this just a useless wire? I have searched for help on this and everyone seems to wire this up their own way. I am just following the factory wiring.
