Sensor Identification

Looking to identify the sensor next to the dipstick and to remove the dipstick tube can I just tap it up from the bottom?
Thanks!

Re: Sensor Identification

That is the knock sensor, and yes, carefully tap the dipstick tube from the bottom. I usually put a piece of hardwood on it and tap on the wood with a light hammer, being especially careful to hit it square.....
