TPI to carb swap…. Worth it?
TPI to carb swap…. Worth it?
I have a 88 L98 car. I’ve considered ditching the TPI and adding heads/cam/carb to the stock short block and running it. For those of you that have made this leap…. Was it worth it in your opinion? I know most people go LS and don’t look back, but I’m a fan of simplicity and don’t mind the habits of carbed cars. For the people that have swapped over, what’s your setup now? Thanks in advance.

From what I've seen, the more you build your engine usually the higher the carb swap gain. On the other side, some on here have built pretty good TPI setups. I like carbs and three of my projects are getting custom ones But I'm gonna keep my C4 TPI for now and maybe later I'll try a better EFI intake.
