Crappy Idle and Backfire when cold issue - FIXED!!
It's been a long week, but I finally got to the bottom of my shitty idle and backfire issue. Turns out a new Delphi MAF did the trick.
A brief explanation for those who might be experiencing a similar problem in the future: Car would need excessive revving to stay running on a cold start, accompanied by numerous backfiring 'pops' from the intake. Getting it into drive without stalling is extremely difficult, stalling 24/7, backfiring when gas is applied, would run like a top once driven for 5-10 minutes and warmed up.
Fix: New MAF.
Advice for people in a similar spot: plug and unplug sensors until you notice a shift in performance
